The rules for using Teacher OS as a student, a parent or a teacher.

Who provides Teacher OS

Teacher OS is software made by Velocity AI. Each teacher who uses it has a contract with Velocity AI. Velocity AI provides the software only: it does not teach, tutor or arrange lessons.

Student accounts

A student account is free and needs a parent’s or guardian’s consent at sign-up. A teacher adds a student to a class with a code. Keep your password to yourself; an account is signed in on one device at a time.

Payments

Students never pay through Teacher OS and never see a price. Lesson fees are between a family and their teacher; Teacher OS only keeps the teacher’s own record of what was paid and takes nothing.

Exams and fair use

An exam may count exits from the exam screen and refuse a second device; the screen before each exam lists the rules that teacher switched on. Do not copy or share exam questions, and do not try to see other students’ work.

AI features

Some features use AI models to draft questions, suggest marks and plan study. A teacher reviews marks before they count. An AI model never decides a grade, a payment or a class on its own.

Teachers’ materials

Files, exams and notes belong to the teacher who made them. They are private to the classes they are shared with; downloading is off unless the teacher allows it.

When these terms change, the new version is published on this page. For questions, ask your teacher, who can reach Velocity AI.

The exact wording a parent or guardian agrees to when a student signs up. Each agreement is stored with its date, time and text version.

I am this student’s parent or guardian. I agree that Teacher OS keeps the student’s name, email address, the classes they join, their grades, exam answers and attendance, together with my name and email address, so that the student’s teachers can run their classes on it. My email address is used only to send me, in the teacher’s name, results, absence notes, payment reminders, progress digests and a read-only report link. Teacher OS never asks for the student’s date of birth, ID number (QID), home address or phone number. The data is kept while the student studies with a teacher on Teacher OS and is deleted within 30 days of a request; marks a teacher must keep are kept without the student’s name. I can ask for a copy of the data, or for it to be deleted, at any time by replying to any email from the teacher. This consent is recorded with the date, the time and this exact wording.
